The Friday session of the #worldofavani campaign has just met the Draksveld Witch, known to her friends (few as they may be) as Eulalie*.

Much to the party's surprise, her appearance as an ugly old crone was simply a series of spells and illusions, meant to keep others away. Her murderous garden, however, is entirely real...

*No relation to ~ThatCarelessFairy's Eulalie, although I think it's super cute that we have girls with matching names. I want to do crossover fanart of them sometime. :]

Ahh, these are such cool designs! That patchwork dress is so sweet and homey and is a great contrast to hag!Eulalie's simple, ragged look. I also really like that you use the same colors on each of them, only darker for her false appearance.

Aww, thank you so much! I want a quilt dress now, I think it'd be super comfy (and cute)! I'm glad you appreciate the color palette thing, that's EXACTLY what I was going for--darker, more saturated colors always make me think of older things. Is that just me? D:

I've never seen one before, but I rather want one too after seeing this! I used to have a skirt that was similar and loved it . . . It's not just you! There's definitely something youthful about pale, pastel colors. Dark,more saturated colors feel more refined and more adult to me.
